What I've learned from Photographing Miramont's Incredible Events

I’m grateful to work with Miramont Country Club. What surprised me was the variety and joy of their events — giant tailgates, Oktoberfest celebrations, and spring kickoffs with live music and dinner. My first Ultimate Tailgate stands out: the food, the live band, Reveille (the A&M dog), and the whole celebratory atmosphere — the perfect night to pick up my camera and capture people enjoying the moment.

Serving Miramont hasn’t been about starting from zero — it’s sharpened my craft. Over three years of shooting their events, indoors and out, I’ve learned to anticipate moments, adapt to changing light and crowds, and deliver consistent images that represent their brand. Meeting so many new faces and building familiarity has improved my timing and compositions, and their trust has led to referrals and new opportunities that have helped my business grow.

The biggest lesson Miramont gave me is validation: their belief in my work confirmed that if I can serve them well, I can serve others well too. Relationships matter, and treating every client with care turns one opportunity into many. I’m thankful to God for this chance, and I’d love to build long-term client relationships — if you want a photographer who invests in your brand, get in touch and let’s grow together.
