Before Graduation < After Graduation
I’ve been having some of the best photo shoots in a while, and it has nothing to do with the weather, my clients, or even me. Lately, I've been doing senior shoots after graduation, and it has been so nice. No lines, no people waiting around, and full access to the whole area. It is essentially peace everywhere, and I’m able to effectively communicate with my clients without feeling rushed or needing to move around to avoid crowds.
Why People Shoot Before Graduation
Now, it makes complete sense why people want to have their senior shoots before they graduate. Usually, people have graduation announcements to send out, want to make social media posts about it, or just want to get on top of it before they pack up and leave Aggieland for good.
I totally understand that. But if you are able to take your graduate photos after the graduation season is over, you will have an amazing shoot. You’ll feel like you’re the only person in the world getting photos, which is a real luxury. There is a huge difference between grad season and after-grad season, and I’ll take after-grad season all day long.
Complete Access to Campus
Like I said, I understand the need to take grad photos before the actual graduation ceremony. It's totally understandable, and we can definitely take your photos then. But if it's at all possible for you to take your photos after the fact, you will not be disappointed.
You’ll have all of Jack K. Williams to yourself, along with Aggie Park, and essentially the whole campus. That is not something easily replicable—if at all—during the regular school season.
In the end, you’re graduating, and that is a huge achievement. Let’s cap off your time at A&M with a great grad session. My name is Isaac Killgore, and I would love to be your photographer, whether it's before or after the school season.
