Why I Love Photography — Bryan–College Station Photographer
Photography is my excuse to meet new people and explore new places. I love people, I love discovering, and I love fresh interactions. For twelve years I worked at H-E-B doing the same tasks day after day, and the best part was always the people I met. Photography lets me keep that connection—and watch people celebrate the milestones in their lives. Being part of those moments brings perspective and gratitude.
I wasn’t always creative and I never imagined I’d be a photographer. But here I am—and I’m grateful for it. Photography has given me purpose and a way to serve others well. I don’t dread life; every shoot is special and unique. There’s mystery in the work, and I love that.
Serving Bryan–College Station in particular has been easy and rewarding. People here are laid back and welcoming, and I’ve been honored to gain the trust of my neighbors for their photography needs. From weddings to graduations, from family portraits to local events, it’s been a real joy to capture those moments for people in this community. That trust has made me appreciate my craft even more, and I hope to keep serving this area for years to come.
At the end of the day, I love serving people, meeting new faces, going to new places, and doing what I feel God put me on this earth to do. The freedom of running my own photography business is a huge bonus—though it’s a big responsibility, too. I enjoy photography for the human element; if it weren’t for the people, I probably wouldn’t be doing it.
